Root Okay, messed up Co-workers Phone

So I updated my co-workers from from 2.2 Rooted to GB 596 Rooted. Then, like a fool...tried to deodexed give him the CRT mod. But then realized once the FC's started - he wasn't deodexed. Grr...Dumb move I know.

So Can I just flash the Deodexed zip and fix this or did I screw him royally?

Try flashing the deodexed zip again. If that doesn't work you are always only an SBF away from a stable, bootable phone. You did take a backup first, right?
 
UPDATE: The Deodexed Zip over the 2 part Rooted Zips worked just fine. No wipes, no issues. Sorry for the freak out.

MODS, you can delete this if needed.
 
I did the same thing (I should know better but at 2am I don't think straight). I had to SBF twice to fix my mistake. I was thinking about putting it out there as a cautionary tale but glad to see someone else did it already.
 
I think Bouchigo just likes keeping people confused. We all usually just look at the pic and we know who we are talking to. Now because he keeps changing his pic we actually have to look at his name to know it's him.....lol.....DAMN YOU BO!
 
Not as bad as SA when he stole Steven's yoda avatar, that weirded me out. Thought my 'puter was acting funny and caching avatars...
