Root Old times Die hard

Will be starting a rainy day project after my Droid Razr and LG Spectrum projects.

Still here though it's my sisters now. If you just google LG Ally cm7 there is one over at XDA. Couple issues, but seems to be coming along good. The latest update should've fixed most kinks, status 7, and even camera flash/what not.

We were even given a TWRP, but I'm a little weary on it.
They even say they would try and work on ICS and JB

I however am stuck with the dilemma of being stuck in download mode. I learned after the phone starting flashing that it constantly disconnects and reconnects on Download mode :(
 
Idk whos still here but im probably guess no ones here anymore, i never forgot. The Ally got bricked during an experimental project. Trying to fix, if its done, than this done.
 
I check this forum from time to time. My Ally has been regulated to just WiFi device now and I still use it for checking email. It still runs like a champ.
 
If you get your phone working again, I would be interested in seeing the progress that could be made. I am currently running android gingerbread 2.3.7, cyanogenmod 7.2

It is pretty buggy and I have difficulty with texting and calls when data is enabled. If data is enabled I can not hang up a phone call, I have to reboot the phone in order to end the call. It also displays 00:00 as time in call when this happens. It works fine if I leave data off. Data toggle doesn't work until reboot either. Also, the camera and wifi do not work. Of course screen off/on animation has to be disabled as well to avoid screen freezes.
