Okay, just got my phone a few hours ago. Been reading all about how to do things for weeks now. But I haven't been able to to figure out how to close the mail and messages apps that show up on 2 of my home screens.

Please tell me I can do this and put them where ever I want.

Oh yeah, and how do I close them? :D

Thanks,

Dennis

Okay, stupid. I knew to do that with icons, but not what looked like running apps.

All gone.

Thanks.

You've probably figured this out also but along with moving them from screen to screen, you can also swipe them downward and off the screens altogether. This doesn't delete the app/widget but just removes them from your 7 home screens to be replaced with other things you'd rather have. Same deal when moving new apps onto your 7 screens. Go to the main apps list, long hold and drag them upward and onto the screen of choice. For widgets, press the + button on the homescreen of choice and select the desired widget.
