omg my house is in 4g!!

Bite me!!!! :p my address showed 4G on their map, but I think I'm in a 4G deadspot....boo n chit!

Are you north? I am 20 or so miles north, in Alpharetta, and 4G is on like Donkey-Kong up here. I was even pulling 4G (2 bars) in Cumming GA which is another 10 miles north.

Nice...

I guess it helps that Verizon Wireless Corp offices are 1 mile from my office. :)

Wow... I'm about 45 min out of Atlanta and I'm currently using the 4g network. I love version :) e: Verizon.

I am in Atlanta and I could rarely get 3G at my house (especially the last 9 months or so), but I get solid 4G now with the Bolt. What an improvement!

This is very true.

Still cool that you have it :)

Once a switch exists to only use it when you need it (on the fly), battery life should be better than what people are seeing. A lot of folks do not appreciate that 4G is best (as needed) for streaming vids and downloading large files. All other functions are more efficient and less battery with 3G.

Seem VERY odd VZW did not provide a switch for this, rather than forcing 4G. There is a phone code hack that can be used, but not as user friendly as a toggle switch.

I actually get better 4G LTE coverage in my house than I do with cdma.

This is to be expected. If the LTE and CDMA antennas are on the exact same tower, the LTE signal will be stronger through structure walls (such as a house) due to the lower frequency penetrating barriers better. The signal isn't stronger, it is just a principle of lower frequencies are better penetrators.

I live in Baltimore City. I'm lucky enough to get full 4G almost everywhere. I feel bad for you guys who don't live near a major market.

im in marietta and it blanket with 4G.

got 4G everywhere I go if you re out of cobb county then you'll get 3G service.. it happen to me too

Have 4g in Manhattan (midtown) and in NJ everywhere so far (not many places visited yet, of course). And solid 3G in the tunnel!

Lexington KY is not a major market?!?! ;)

Louisville is supposed to get it during summer. Us KY folks are in the same boat as waiting years for 2.5g and then 3G. Still tons of places with no 3G, so not holding breath for rampant 4G coverage anytime soon ;) :( :)

I'm in Cumming, GA off of exit 13, and I'm bouncing between full bars of 3G and full bars of 4G. It's kindof annoying. My 4G tests out -very- fast ~24Mbps down and ~16Mbps up on the webpage though. I wish there were a way for me to disable 3G data...

WOW! I was surprised when I activated my Thunderbolt after Fed Ex dropped it off today. I am rocking FULL BARS OF LTE!!!!! I live in a small crap town in PA called Jeannette, it is about 15 minutes away from a larger town called Greensburg and about 45 minutes away from the city of Pittsburgh.

I guess I lucked out and I must be getting overlap from the two larger cities, because I find it really hard to believe that Verizon invested in LTE for this town it is a MAJOR ghetto drug infested rat trap. Cannot wait to buy my house in the country this summer lol.
