OMG why cant i get in my G1

ok i erased everything and restarted my phone and you have to do the process of making a Google account or signing in one you already made, Ok i try to make one it says "you don't have a network connection" ok so than i try to sign on one i have made and remembered says the exact same thing whys that?

does that mean my phone is disconnected?

and also it says

"this could be temporary problem or your SIM card may not
be provisioned for data services. please try again when you are connected. it it continues,call customer
care"

Can some one please help me im having so much problems with my G1
i cant even get in my phone im stuck at the process that you have to do when you FIRST get the G1 but it wont let me in says "you dont have a network connection"

You will need a netwotk connection to register the phone ...
until then not much to do ... who is your carrier ? call or go see them ...
