I'm a donkey and in over my head. I did a one click root method "clockwork?" awhile ago. i dont think i have 2.2 even though i rooted. i dont know how i installed it or anything really. i know that it was noobnl or something. If i want to update to the new 2.2 release that is out do i have to unroot? i dont know how or know what software is needed for it because im an idiot and have no idea how i did it previously. What do i do? im confused and i want 2.2 froyo flash stuff or whatever, but i dont want to break my phone. thanks

I will be straight ass honest because I am not an Epic guy. Has the official Froyo update already been pushed by Sprint/Samsung? If so and you want to stay rooted, I would just wait until your favorite dev puts a ROM together that is based on the new update....or any ROM based on the new update. If Froyo hasn't pushed yet, I think your only choice is leaked version. Anyway, Kelmar will correct me but that is generally the mindset of most people who root. Just wait until the ROM developers put out ROMs that incorporate the update into their ROM. Read over at XDA to see what is being offered.
