Is there a way to permanently silence/eliminate the jingle/tune that comes up every time you turn on/off your Epic???
Sometimes I need to turn my phone on/off without being noticed and... BAM!! there's the stupid little tune!
There is another i already had on my phone and didnt realize but it has the option to set both boot and shutdown sounds to no sound, i just tried it and it works on mine. The app is called sgs tools. Might be worth a shot for ya.
Turn the phone's ringer volume all the way down (just use the slider buttons on the left side of the phone). Then turn the volume back up after you reboot.
