Help On Screen Camera button

Im not a big fan of the 2 position camera button on the X. Is there anyway to make the camera work like it does with google goggles?
Just one icon on the screen to press and snap a picture.

Half press the button to focus then press it the rest of the way to take the pic.

My camera button sucks too. If you aren't dead center on the button, you can half press but it won't ever take the focused shot.

quick camera tip. when your subject is in frame half press to focus and hold the camera button untill your ready to take the picture. then press the button in the rest of the way

The point I and others were trying to make is on some Droids this apparently doesn't work. No matter how hard i press after focus, if I'm not positioned correctly on the shutter button it won't shoot.
