on screen keyboard closes randomly

when i am typing a message on my vibrant the keyboard sometimes shuts mid message and then proceeds to keep hitting the spacebar until i hit the return key. any one else have this issue or know how to fix it its very annoying
 
I am having the same problem. It closes the onscreen keyboard with all apps and screen while pushing the space bar. I have restarted and tried a battery pull without resolution. Any ideas?:confused:
