Help On the verge of calling it a day with the Note

I really hope ICS will increase the speed of the Note a little. I have the international version, did not have lock ups yet but it could be just that little faster in scrolling and start ups. Also the screen is very scratch sensitive, probably it is not really Gorilla glass as mentioned in the spec.

I confirmed in another thread that the Note does indeed have Gorilla Glass fitted. They say so on their website.

lol shut up. I know I'm being pedantic! Anyone looking at my phone though probably wouldn't notice it, but because I know it's there it irks me.

Lol, I know exactly what you mean. When you own something and something on it - no matter how small or insignificant - bothers you it can gradually drive you mental. I bought a cheap 40" lcd tv for use with my Xbox and it has a single hot pixel (pure white). It's not even in a place where it would be noticed but every single time I turn it on my eye is drawn to it. Don't think I could live with a tiny envelope with a partial blue tint on it though. :p

lol thank you! Knew someone here would understand my pain!

Mine is scratched. I use the flip cover. I have no idea how or what scratched it. I have had mine for around 5 months.

I've seen in another thread a few people mention scratched screens and they too were using a case with a flip cover. The problem is dirt (or something else scratchy) being trapped between the screen and the flip cover.
