Help Onavo won't enable my data

The app Onavo Counter blocked my data and whenever I try to unblock it, the app crashes. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the app several times but it'll still say my data is blocked and trying to unblock it will make it crash again. Does anyone know a way to unblock it?

Hi, I see that this post has had quite a few views, and yet no one seems to know how to help.
Is your phone rooted?

Forgive me for asking, but I haven't heard of Onavo counter.
Is this Onavo counter something you downloaded from Google Play Store?

It's no problem, and it is an app that keeps track of how much data you've been using and how much data each app used. It also gives you warnings of when you reach a certain amount of data usage and it will block your data. When it blocked mine it turned my 4g indicator to white and I can't use it at all. And yes it is downloadable from the Play Store.

have you tried going to the app and delete it's data, cache and clear the defaults? You can go to manage apps- select Onavo counter then click each tab to clear them. sometimes when you delete an app some info stays on your phone so when you reinstall it the data is still there.

I just tried it, nothing:/ my data is still blocked

That's the thing, I would uninstall it but my data will still stay blocked. I have to some how unblock it through the app then it's as good as gone.

It might be time for a factory reset then. It might be the only way to return your phone to a state where you can download and access data.

That was the one thing I was trying to avoid.. im still trying to find a method to unblock it, because a factory reset is my final final choice.

Wait I just found out its only blocking my 4g lte, my CDMA 3G is still working, I switched my network settings to CDMA and its getting a data connection.

I just really want my 4g back now haha

With it switched to 3G can you uninstall it?

If yes ... do so and then switch back to 4G.

I tried it and I still have no 4g connection. I emailed the app developers and they told me I have to reset my APN values on my phone to get my 4g back. Anyone have any idea on how to do that?

I can't find anything on the Internet for the Bionic. There were statements that a Factory DAta Reset did not reset it on some other models. Replacing the SIM card did nit reset it on some other models.

As an experiment ... pop the back, pull the battery, make sure the SIM and SD-Ext cards are firmly and squarely seated. Put in the battery, replace the back, and power on.

Any luck?

Nope, nothing.. Here's the email they sent me though, I guess I have to call Verizon to fix it, do you know how to reset the apn settings without calling Verizon?
