Help One button mobile data on/off?

Hey guys. I've finally nailed down why my battery life is horrible. It's due to my data radio because where I work is in a pretty weak signal location so it is constantly switching between 3G and well.. non 3G.

Is there an app or function where I can widget a one button mobile data on/off without having to go through a bunch of menus?

I've got Juice Defender Ultimate and it will do this for me automatically... sometimes. Sometimes it takes a long time for it to turn mobile data back on.

I'd like to just be able to turn it off and on when I really need it.

When I'm operating where there is WiFi my battery lasts a very long time.

If you long press on the screen you wish the widget to be displayed, Choose widgets---> Settings---> Mobile Network. Its quick and easy and works wonders for battery life. Hope that helps!

To add on to that, you can just pull down your notifications and go to quick settings (2nd tab on the bottom) and there should be a "mobile network" option where you can uncheck to turn off.

Also, to piggyback off what you said about the mobile data turning on slow, I have the same problem. Where I work I get no signal but I keep my phone on anyway since it really doesn't drain that much battery. I walk outside my office and I should be getting signal but I don't usually get signal until I'm outside about 2-3 minutes. However, I sometimes just dial a number and that will kick in the bars as well as the 3G (and I have done this right outside my office so I know I definitely have service there). Have you tried just dialing a number to kick those in faster?

Thank you! I had no idea I could widget the settings like that!
 
There is a built-in widget for this. Go to Personalize > Widgets > Browse HTC Widgets, scroll over until you find the built in widget for Mobile Network. Press on select and it will save to whatever screen that has space available on it. One touch tap to turn off or on.

I don't understand using downloaded apps for something that is already built in.

It's the first widget I added to my screen. It is odd that it isn't on there with the others (wifi, gps, bluetooth) right when the phone is activated. With mobile data off unless needed that would take alot of strain off of Verizon's network.
