One Button Text Messaging

Is there an app that will allow you to set up a predetermined text msg to a predetermined contact with the touch of one button?

Can't you just use the voice action commands?

Tap the microphone button on the Google search box to get to the Speak now screen.

Say your command "Send text to Joe, I'll be running late"

Done.

that would be nice. i just use the quiktxt feature in GoSms. a few taps less than stock sms.

You could set up tasker to do that. You could place a widget on the homescreen using tasker and when you tap it it can send a text to a contact.

You can do a lot more than that with it too.

That is not the functionallty I'm looking for. What I am looking for will allow you to press one button (app icon) and send a preset message to a preset contact. No voice. Just one button press.
