Root One-Click Root for DX2 2.3.3

CoolPete or anyone that knows. I bought the iPhone 5, not liking it at all. I still have my X2, going to rollback update and try and root the X2. Then send the iPhone back to Verizon. (refund) I can still get wi-fi but DO NOT have Verizon or any cell service, since activating my iPhone.
My Question is, will not having a carrier affect the rooting of the X2? (Would like to see if I brick the X2 FIRST b4 I send back the iPhone) LOL

Hope this is clear. Thx to EVERYONE! :)

Not at all. Rooting or even changing ROMs does not affect activation. Just curious, what did you not like about the iphone compared to the DX2?

Its so basic! iPhone doesn't have any good apps,,, that work. half the apps ppl give negative reviews. Cause they don't work. Not many apps even available. Apple won't let app's do stuff like quite ringers, no snooze apps. no Timeriffic app's work. I guess it's in the permission's. It is a good starter smartphone, very low tech. Waste of money to me. LOL Thx Pete

Sorry, I was referring to the step saying to reactivate the phone, after going back to 2.3.4. I Had Already Done 2.3.5 Update b4 I Read This Thread. So I wasn't sure if not being able to activate would keep me from 1 click rooting? Thx

I got her rooted, thx to CoolPete.
Now, I can erase some apps that run my battery down. Apps that I have NEVER USED. lol Like V Cast, Verizon Video, Blockbuster etc.

Hope this is possible.

Can anyone tell me if I can erase these Verizon apps, without bricking my cell? (V Cast V, Video, Yahoo contacts, Yahoo Mail Authenticator ) Thx in Advance :)

The most popular way is to use Titanium Backup and freeze the apps that you mentioned above.

Sorry, to be on here asking for help, again. Woke this morning, hit Titanium Backup Pro, I get a error message: "Sorry, could not aquire Root Access Privledges. This Application Will NOT Work, Plz verify your ROM is Rooted. This attempt was made using /system/xbin/su command".

1st I did reboot, no go. 2nd, I re-did 1 click Root Exe again, no go. Thx :)

Just out of curiosity, can anyone explain why I had the "No Root Problem", in the first place? Want to avoid having it happen again. Thx

Also, is there a way to choose the location of my backups in Titanium Pro? And what is "Bootstrap Recovery Tool"?Thx again! :)

Heck, I'm afraid to upgrade to 2.3.5 now. LOL

superuser may have been slow to respond, wiping log may have fixed it

dx2 bsr, bootstrap recovery is used to to boot to a custom recovery
where you can make nandroid backups, flash roms.....

titanium backup location can be changed
menu preferences backup folder location

I normally connect to pc and copy and paste, titianium folder to sd card
then open titanium/menu/preferences/backup folder/scan whole device/choose correct backup
