Root One click root for zmax?

at the moment there isnt one. But the process isnt that difficult. It's basically the same as the feirce 2 (I saw you in the root thread)

except you have to make /system R/W with a few command lines. theres tuts here and on XDA. very noob friendly.

I'm gonna try it as soon as I get my phone replaced..this zmax was defective everyone says it sounds like I'm under water unless I have it on speaker phone. So far its taken over a month to get one though warranty

There probably won't be an easier method developed. The method is pretty easy. The only "difficulty" is getting king to give you temp root. It took me over 12 hours and 200 attempts to finally get it to work on my phone. And king is a 1 click root method. Then you run an apk, boot back to recovery, and flash su zip. That's it. It isn't gonna get any easier unless ZTE decides (out of the goodness of their hearts) to give us a way to unlock the Bootloader. Personally... I won't hold my breath, but I guess it's always ok to hope...
