I really want to upgrade to the One Max from my Note 2, but I watch a lot of video in .mkv format on my Note 2.. Is this format compatible on the One Max?

Get a video player that supports it. Dice player, Moboplayer, etc.
Yes is the answer. I use 3rd party players and they play mkv.

thanks for the suggestion with mobo; problem is, I cant find any player that will playback the sound track on an mkv on this phone...any suggestions?
