Hey everyone!

I just thought I'd check in after a month with the phone. I haven't run into any significant problems thus far (that is, any that particularly detract from the overall experience) and every time I take it out to use it, I'm simply blown away by the gorgeous screen and the design of the phone. It's just so weird to think that a little over a month ago we had been waiting for oh so long, and we were speculating like crazy. I know I said I'd be lurking around even after the release, but to be honest I've become more accustomed to Reddit recently.

Anyways, in other Nexus news, I tried to convince my sister to get a Nexus (she had a DInc), but she instead went with the iPhone (despite me successfully having her sold on the Nexus for a short period of time). Her boyfriend got the Nexus yesterday. Why she didn't get the Nexus is beyond me...

Well that's all for now. I probably won't be on here for a while again so I'll see you guys in 11 months (1 year anniversary!) ;)

Make sure to let us know what your piano teacher says next year when the next nexus is coming around.

Good to see you sticking around Scott!
For me, having the Bionic for a couple months, and then dumping it to my wife (hey, she can suck it up, I pay the damn bill!), I still am blown away by the screen. Everytime I look at hers, I almost shudder. I'm so excited to be back in a huge dev. scene like what my OG Droid had (the Bionic has, um, 3 ROMs?). Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Interested to see what next years' Nexus carries for a SoC. The preliminary tests with the Intel powered Androids have been very positive, and that's just single core!

I think I already said elsewhere that I am very happy with the Nexus, even after 2 months here in the UK. It is the first device in a long time I'm not already bored with (and I don't) have tine for custom ROMs etc like I used to) and I fully expect to keep it until the next Nexus is released - a record for me.

From my point of view some plusses:

Fasted Android yet and the first I have had that doesn't stutter without a 3rd party Launcher or ROM.
Great screen, and yes whites are whites on mine and no noticeable bandinh
Build, whilst plastic is solid and light. Much improved over NS.
Battery life is OK for a full day.
ICS is much better than GB, although still lacks some consistancy for me (menu dots position, phone app and contact apps are so different...)
Reception in UK 3G, 2G and WiFi are fine.
GPS is MUCH better than on the NS
