I know there are MANY threads out there on Exchange connectivity and I am having the same problems most have identified already; to wit, I cannot connect to Exchange using my exchange address and login. I have gone through many of the suggestions, but still cannot get connected.
The Droid will let me randomly connect sometimes - but I get no messages, contacts or calendar information. Using the same account, try different settings (uncheck SSL etc) and I get "cannot connect to server" msgs.
I have deleted and redone the Sync account many times, sometimes connecting, most times telling me I cannot connect. Other times I get an invalid certificate error.
Whats frustrating is that I am not getting a consistent error. The iPhone users in the office have had no problems connecting (I'm definitely hearing about that) so I'm not sure what the issue is. I have tried the variations of the address/login suggested in the forums with no success.
We are using the online Microsoft hosted products, including Exchange. One thing I haven't read on the forum is anyone using the hosted products from Microsoft.
Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not purchase a third party app to make this work, but if that is my only choice I will. Love the phone, just can't wait to have it working to its full potential.
