I don't think your phone is upgraded to jelly bean... that's what a lot of us are waiting for! For proof though, look under settings, about phone, then software information. Your android version should be 4.0.3, which is ice cream sandwich.

Lol, what are you asking? ICS is what the phones come with. Therefore every last one of us has rooted with it

You can still root your phone and get s-off via the wire trick after taking the latest OTA.

Yeah, like xstefen, we've all rooted it with ICS since that's what comes with.

You want to completely update your phone before you do it, so you're fine

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. Yes you can still root your phone. The software version you are on won't prevent you from rooting.

why would you threaten your wifi? lmao. after rooting and flashing a custom rom, must have wifi tethering built in
