So this problem happened to my old HTC Vivid as well. What happens is the phone only charges when held slightly backward, toward the back of the device. I have to keep pressure on it for it to charge. I can get it to rest like this, but when I'm holding it, it can get really annoying... Before on my old device when this happened, it started out moderate. You just have to put pressure on it a certain way. But then it gets harder and harder to keep charging, you have to find exactly where to position it and such... And now it's coming back to haunt my new One (M8)!
I just want to know if there is any way to fix this by myself, without going to any place to pay to fix it. Would I need to take the phone apart to replace the port, or what?
