ONE SV Battery life

I was thinking about making the jump from ZTE WARP SEQUENT to the ONE SV...but I wanted to know if the proclaimed 17 hour battery life was ANYWHERE NEAR the truth? I know most phones claim a much longer battery life than they actually get. I am pretty happy with the ZTE WARP SEQUENT...I am rooted and getting a STRONG 5 hours with HEAVY use or 8-9 hours with moderate use.

battery life for myself is a long day of streaming and downloading from 8ish a.m.until about 11pm before I get hit with the 14% battery life charge warning.....so easy 15 hours with mostly heavy usage....


I do remember when I first bought the device it was only like 11 hours of battery life but after like 2 weeks of usage it finally "broke in"

the battery life is real good. i can tell you bcuz i wake up at 5:25am to go to school and i listen to music all day long till 6:00pm without signal in my school and no charging all day in school but it last longer out of school cause my phone is constantly looking for signal. and it last longer if you turn on the built in battery saver so you could average pretty good battery life

I get a strong 8 ish hours on the Sense 5 OTA, so pretty good. Heavy usage on the lowest brightness + power saver + aeroplane mode = a happy me.

Also: Software updates affect battery life. Sense 5 takes up more resources than Sense 4.1. Literally, like on the S3 when you update to 4.1.2 the battery life lasts 3 hours.
