Root One-touch dialing?

Hi. I was using the quick the "contact quick task" widgets for one-touch dialing of key contacts prior to installing Launcher Pro. But now in LPP, they don't work. I've tried recreating them but they just seem to be broken in LPP.

Any fixes or ideas on other ways to do one-touch dialing with LPP?

Also, is it just me or does "speed dial" (on the favorites page in dialer) not work at all. I can get to the speed dial page but cannot successfully add contacts.

Add a direct dial for the contact you want

Are you talking about the android. I can't find a way to one touch dial to save my life.

Yup. Whether you're using launcher pro or not if you go to add an item ( shortcut) select direct dial then choose a contact
