First, I apolgize if a solution to this problem is available and I missed it. I have searched for a solution for sometime. I have seen solutions for formatting the phone, clearing cache, etc. I just want to pass along a quick solution.
Note: I did not want to format the storage card or reset the phone - personal preference.
I know clearing/resetting and a few other suggestions did not work on my phone (HTC Incredible).
I downloaded and installed Dolphin browser and chose to make it my default browser. It ended up to be perferct for me - tabbed browsing, fast, and intuitive.
