I've been using drop box to keep my laptop and phone synced. I just tried Sugarsync last night and I like the Droid App alot better than dropbox and it seems to work better also. Plus they give you 5gigs free and you get 500 megs free for all referrals, and if some one you refer signs up under you, they get 500 megs free too.

I used Gabbott's code...tyvm. Figger'd I'd testdrive this to see how it compares to DropBox.

I like that you get another 250mb for the Getting Started from the Web Interface, and another 250mb for the Android App's Getting Started tutorial as well... That's another 500mb. So starting with 5Gig free, 500mb for the referral, 250mb x 2 for the Getting Started tutorials... not too shabby starting off with 6Gig total free.

I just received an email reminder to finish my sugarsync installation so that the referral link I clicked on received credit for my signing up, although I finished setting it up. On my end I received the 500MB for using the referral link, but he didn't get his.

So I looked at my account and I see that Loch (above) used my referral link, however it shows as not being completed also. I'm sure that he has finished the sign-up and install just like I did.

Does anybody know if there's a not-so-obvious step to finish before the referrer gets credit?
