Root Only displaying 1/2 screen on my DX

My DX on a reboot is now only displaying the top half of my screen.
I cant get into CW to do a restore of my backup.

HELP Please!
 
do a battery pull, and see if that works, if it doesnt you need to go into reboot recovery, are you on gingerbread? or froyo?
 
I did the battery pull.
I now can get into CW and I did a wipe of everything.
I then tried a restore and it just sat there.
I'm unable to see if it is doing anything due to the lower half being blanked out.

Edit I'm on froyo with Apex 141
 
hrm, what are you on? gingerbread or froyo?

if you restored a previous version and your screen is still half way out, you may have to return it to your local verizon store, cause it seems that your screen may have a short in it
 
I managed to re apply Apex and it is still messed up.
I do have an old phone that I can activate till I get a replacement.
Guess I will wait till I get the new one and then SBF this one.
Man what a drag never dropped this one and even have an otter box.

Well I am going to get on the phone with CS and get the ball rolling.

While typing APEX reload came up and its half screen.

I just got off the line with CS and went through their wheel spinning! Lol :eek:
And they are sending a replacement. We activated my old phone so I can still be in touch with work. Being a chief engineer in broadcasting I am on 24hr call. :(
Boy am I going to miss my DX!
I was getting ready for GingerBread, well I guess I will have to wait a bit.

its no problem bud, glad you are getting a replacement, stuff like this happens, just a small speed bump, maybe your next dx will be alot faster.... ^_^
