Root Only fastboot works...

Arcane

Lurker
I have pretty much tried everything I could think of/research about unbricking and everything on this phone. This is more of a confirmation that it's bricked more than anything I suppose.

What happened before:
This was basically my first phone rooting so I was being a noob and started playing with things I wasn't supposed to, as in deleting system apps (phone was working fine though). So when the phone was getting slow I decided to do a factory restart...it all went downhill from there causing me about 7 days of none stop of researching. At first I did the kdz method, that worked fine and dandy for about a week until the tmobile kdz seems to be faulty making the phone unable to get a signal as in no calls/text messages/ data, only wifi. I then tried it again and then it just got all screwed up and giving me that wparam 100/64 error people complain about.

What happens:
I can't even boot the phone really, as in when you hold down the power button nothing comes up, I have to plug it into a power source for it to start. The battery charging animation doesn't even come up instead it just shows:
"fastboot mode started
udc_start()
-- reset --
-- portchange --
-- reset --
-- portchange --
fastboot: processing commands".

Things that I tried:
- I have tried erasing all the data using fastboot to no avail.
- Since I didn't have any custom recovery I tried using fastboot to start it with the "fastboot boot" command. This then lead me to figuring out that twrp can't mount the internal storage, not even system, cache, etc. Only the sd card can be mounted, but since I can't mount the internal I can't really flash anything that stuck.
- I have also tried the kdz method which gives me the wparam 100/64 error that people got (don't tell me to try it on a different computer or trying it again. I have tried it on 3 pc's and 4 different operating systems)
-Twrp shows 0 mb for files.
-Fasboot commands show failed messages.

I came to the conclusion that the internal storage somehow got messed up causing all this trouble. Anyway, sorry for the long post.

TL;DR Can't boot holding power button only while charging causing it to go to fast boot. Went into twrp but not recognizing internal storage (system, data, cache, etc) only external sd. Is it hard bricked?

Welcome to our AndroidForums, @Arcane.

I've moved thread over here to the root area for LG Optimus F3 in hopes the root folks will be able to give you some help and feedback.

Cheers and best of luck!

If you can boot too fastboot mode, You can boot to download mode. Re-flash the kdz.
To get signal, and data, you'll need to update your profile and prl under settings-about phone-update software

I am unable to do the kdz method unless you have different software then the one posted here
