Guys I saw that no one interested in donating their handset to Arjen for development so I am starting this thread as I found this as last option.

So my idea is that we should try new kernels on our A70. For many of you this Idea would appear to be silly but this is better idea until we get the sources.

But im not going to do this as I have this the only phone.
I recommend to try A60 kernel because it has the touch driver in it.

Guys this very dangerous so do on your own risk as there are high chances of getting a brick


What I suggest:
I suggest to try kernels of devices having nearly sam config.
And A60 is the one!!
So anyone going to come forward and try?

downloaded micromax A60 2.6.32 kernel...............isn't flashing...........geeks phone zero flashed but stucked at the micromax logo

what errors u got in a60 kernel and did you proted it or just copied it to sd after downloading ?

try zte blade too ! & BTW i was searching byd it's site some time ago & found that they have one and only 3.2 inch hvga screen 256k colors & what do i believe is this is the touch screen a70 as it is manufactured by byd it . and name of touch screen is ilitek ILI9481B .

i had tried geeksphone,a60,commovita z71,huawei m680...............and till now not tried zte blade will try it later....and gta i already own a z71 clone so tried sevreal times......
