Well guys i know i had a rant on here not to long ago about gingerbread etc but...........
i had one or six beers tonight and decided i was going to get kies to kiss and make up with my note if it killed me and hey presto the guru charm worked lol but then, bugger me the beer took over and kies was pleased to inform me that there was an upgrade for my phone......
now bearing in mind my eyes are not what they used to be and they were tinted by numerous cans of calsberg lager, silly me was under the impression i was getting gingerbread update i thought i never had so continued with upgrade as instructed.....and well you could knock me down with a feather duster it was ICS and yes, i upgraded (two faced pr**k etc..)i hear you all shouting lol but in my defence i was well leathered ("lightweight.....drunk off 6 cans") yes i am and i was but its done and i have to say....first impressions is WOW. not only did the update NOT delete any apps/data installed etc it has made a brill phone SOO much faster/smoother and the photo unlocker is well funny (must remember to re-set it up with a sober pic in morn lol)
so as it stands i am currently loving my upgrade but should i hit any probs you can be sure i will be back here to moan about them lol oh and it even kept my go launcher ex setting as i had them

p.s i am in the uk but my note was bought off e-bay and whilst drunk previously i had changed my csc to HongKong which will explain why i am probs one of the first in uk to get my N7000 upgrade
