OOVOO for the Ultra

Ok so has you know or havnt lol oovoo is not yet compatiable with the samsung transform ultra, it doesnt llet you download the app from the android market and it could take a LONG while for oovoo to update thhere app for it to work cause well all know the ultra isnt on a major carrier to be recognize by oovoo to say ohh guys we must update our app for this phone but of course they do it for the HTC evo and all those other high end smart phones but i found a way to. you can download the 4shared app from the market and whenn you open the app search for oovoo and make sure its the latest verison im not sure what it is but you can check the market to see whats the latest version but anyway once you found the app and the latest version or its close to that version dowwnload it and it will auto install it on the phone and then login with your oovoo id and password i tested the front facing and back facing camera it works great but you need very good signal for the video to show or if you hhave wifi your better off using it instead of 3g.

just wanna put it out there that oovoo updated their app to work with the ultra today and it only took a month and couple days not bad oovoo not bad at all

It says incompatible for me.

hmmmmm thats very odd its still says compatible for me, try going to settings applications market and then click un-install updates and when your done go back to the android market now dont worry the look will be defferent this time its how the old android market use to look, then you accept all the terms agreement etc then exit the app and close it if its running in the background then open it again and it should automatically update to how the android market looks now then try to download oovoo again but do a reboot first and if that doesnt work try installing it from a computer on the android market site.

Hey gang, hi!

So, here's the thing. Even though oovoo is free, it's still copyrighted. I hate to be that guy, but please don't post copyrighted stuff, it gets us in trouble and you run the risk of depressing the family dog.

Besides - did they stop the direct downloads from the oovoo.com site? That's how I got mine, but that was a while back. Anyway, please check it, thanks.

Final note, friends don't let friends use 4shared. And, c'mon, pretty sure that it's kinda obvious what problem we have with that.

Now, read this again and all sins will be forgiven. Take my advice to heart and the gender of your choice will find you twice as attractive. Just when you least expect it.

Copyright respect works magic. Science has yet to explain it.

Thanks. ;) :)

4shared is a file sharing repository.. and generally such speak is frowned upon because it may misrepresent this website as a place for illegal filesharing to authorities and consumers.

So like bootlegged programs?
And aslo what is oovoo in the first place? Like skype?

Not neccesarily bootlegged programs or downloads but yes that is what it is infamous for. Oovoo is like skype but it's main selling point is multiple video chats so you and 5 friends could video chat at once, though Im not sure how well that works on a phone. In my experience the one or two times I used oovoo produced a granier image quality then skype did on the same network same phone.
