Root Open Garden Wifi Tether

Trying to connect to it and it won't work. pops up on my tablet as full bars, but when i try to connect, bars disappear, and nothing happens. i've tried it on like 4 different ROMs and it won't work. Any idea whats wrong, and possibly, how to fix it?

I use Barnacle (can be found in the Android Market). Many others use Barnacle as well and apparently it's the only work WiFi tether app for a lot of people. Worth a try.

It wasnt workn for me this morning untill i updated it in market

I ran into the same problem one thing to do is go into the settings and try different channels i heard some people got it to work that way or what i did is restore a backup of the older version just before the last update where it says androidtether for the ssid instead of opengarden and that worked perfect without changing any settings. hope that helps.

Is there a wired/usb tether for rooted devices?

Open Garden works fine for me, very fast 4g tether as recently as yesterday?

Works great. On my Tab (unrooted), tethered through my rooted Tbolt.
