Open GL Games

[michaelearth]

Tonight my brother came over with his BB Storm 2 and was telling me how awesome open gl games were on His storm. He than said ifbb has them than android should for sure.

So my questions are: what are open gl games? And which games that are availible for the Motorola Droid are open gl ?

Thanks

OpenGL is a 3D graphics API (application Programming Interface) like Microsoft DirectX. It's the code under the hood so to speak. Android supports open GL.

Pretty much any 3D game you see in Android is using OpenGL.

Look on the market for Speed Forge 3D - So far the best looking open GL (i think) on android.
