opening files on PC with USB cable

Each time I try to open my files my phones crashes and reboots... I can't edit any files, transfer music or anything...it's driving me nuts. Anyone experienced this problem before?

I have seen a couple of suggestions but whether they will make any difference I don't know...

Connect with the phone in silent mode and also make sure wifi is turned off before you connect.

here are some suggestions that might help. I am not sure with the effectiveness but you can give it a shot.

- Turn off task killer if u have one.
- turn off or remove apps that integrates PC hardware to mini pro apps if you have.
- turn off PC antivirus or firewall protection.
- lastly, try it on another PC.

Hi! I am also having this problem - phone crashes and reboots, also displays 'No SIM in phone'. I have already uninstalled task killer but had my anti-virus switched on.

This problem seems... basic.

I still havnt been able to solve this problem. Also it is quite weird because i didnt have this problem before the android update. Anti virus software doesnt seem to be the problem either. Anyone got other pointers, this is really starting to annoy me, I might return it to the store.
