Hello,
I have a mobile TP-Link router (TL-M3040) to create a local Open Wrt network. The Alcor Zest of my daughters connects without any issue, but my new Nexus 7 refuses.
I have discussed this issue on another forum. There somebody suggested me to set the Wifi Frequency Band to 2,4 only. I did that and it worked! Unfortunately only now and then. It does not depend on the workflow, what I switch on or connect first. Sometimes it connects but most of the times the tablet keeps saying: connecting....., wether it is set to Auto or only 2,4. It sometimes ends with the message: avoided poor internet connection. There are no conflicts with other routers, as I have the same problem in the forest.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rob
