Oppo Find 5

Man oh man you guys need to google this phone!!!!! This thing is a beast! Makes our S3 look like an iphone (weak and slow). Just wanted to share that with you. Look it up. Thoughts? Would you get it?

I'll stick with my S3. Honestly nothing spec-wise to significantly outperform our phone and the Oppo is flat out ugly. No need for the huge "chin" sticking out of the bottom of that screen.

From the Oppo Find 5...

Android 4.1.x Jelly Bean
(Already rolling out to S3's)
Chipset Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 Pro
1,5 GHz quad-core CPU
(1.5GHz quad-core in the international S3 model... and the US dual-core variant is plenty powerful)
5-inch Full HD 1080

Chipset Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 Pro
1,5 GHz quad-core CPU
(1.5GHz quad-core in the international S3 model... and the US dual-core variant is plenty powerful)

I don't see anything beastly about this phone...

I do. The CPU and here is a little explanation.

You know how the US variants' 1.5Ghz Dual core is only slightly slower than our Exynos 1.4Ghz Quad core? This is down to the fact that the Exynos is based on Cortex ARM A9 architecture. Pretty old stuff. The S4 is based on Cortext ARM A15 architecture.

So, put it like this, if a 1.5Ghz Dual core CPU is so very nearly as fast as our 1.4Ghz Quad core CPU, how do you think the 1.5Ghz Quad core version is going to compare?

Well, I would expect it to leave the S3 for dust! This CPU is going to be so much quicker than ours.

Here's a quick write up:

Monster quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chip first global appearance will be on an LG smartphone

Also that Oppo Find 5 looks pretty although I'm seeing rounded edges pictures and square edges pictures... which is?

This phone is a complete beast IMO. Although I'll wait for the s4 (; lol

Not at all actually. I just find that 90% of your threads are complaints about Jelly Bean not being here or is it really that good or what else is better than our phone. If you're not happy with it than buy something else.
