Optical Joystick

Hey All,

Is there any software that might make the optical joystick work like a regular game-type joystick? It seems like there is an x and y axis but any way that you press it gives the same result. Isn't the 'optical joystick' more capable than it seems??

Most of the games implement virtual on screen Joysticks with x, y and z axis.
