Help Optical pad button function switch

To put it simply, I'd like to use the push button function of the optical trackpad to bring up the camera.

Is this possible with an app?

Not used it myself, but I believe LauncherPro can reprogram the function of the hardware keys. I think you definitely need a custom launcher to do what you want anyway.
