Often now, when my phone starts, it goes into some secret mode and I get the message, 'optimizing apps'.
I NEVER want to optimize ANY apps. When this happens, it takes a minute or two for EACH App, and you cannot stop it no matter what way I press buttons. If I am lucky enough to turn it completely off, then restart, it just starts optimizing again at App #1!!!!! It SAYS I have 72 Apps and takes an hours before I am able to use the phone!
Sometimes my wife or I need a 9-1-1 call for paramedics and this is just crazy that the phone is useless in an emergency!
The thing is, I do not HAVE 72 Apps! It is optimizing every App I ever tried even if it was uninstalled! Looks like you cannot trust Android to completely UNinstall an App that is useless.
I had a Motorola Defy which was WAY better than the Moto G as I could just slip out the battery to shut it down quickly for a restart when it jammed up. (which it often did)
Is there a way I can quickly shut down by taking out the battery? s there a way to stop the phone from ever optimizing Apps?
Needless to say this is my last Motorola as it is nothing more than a Google spy phone.
Shoulda bought the Samsung.
