Root optimizing for benchmark busting

Hello everyone...im using an LG Esteem ZVC with Playful God(dang he's the man!)'s GSE ROM and plague kernel. Im also using a class 10 32GB SD card, OC'ing the CPU to just over 2 gigs, and ive tried playing with V6 supercharger to experiment with different tweaks, such as trying different governors, using a different I/O scheduler, etc. Im using Antutu's benchmarking app and so far ive scored within a couple of hundred points of the record for this device. Anyone know any secrets they might share to help me with this?

My highest is 4760. You can't go by the highest scores on there because it hasn't saved any of mine so Im guessing it hasn't saved other peoples as well.

I got my high score with just over clocking, thats it. Nothing else special that I was doing. I guess it's cool to do every now and then but I keep my phone under clocked to 600 so it doesn't really matter how fast my phone can get. ;)

Well crap i submitted my pic and info about my phone and all...and they dont even store the scores and profiles? lol wow......If i recall correctly i scored right in the 5500 area after a fresh install of GSE and with some tweaking. Im thinking that completely wiping my SD cards, clean ROM install, bare minimum of apps installed and perhaps PG's extra fast OC (around 2.2-2.3 ghz?) could be enough to push us over the top. Oh and my secret is freezing the phone in a sealed plastic baggie for a couple minutes...seems like a score higher when its not running hot. Ive also heard that i might score higher with a class 8 SD card....know anything about that?

Yeah when I oveclocked mines I scored one of the highest score was a 4805

5500? Ummmmmmmm. You sure? lol. Not doubting you but thats hundreds higher than the highest I've seen. lol

im not entirely sure come to think of it..ive since wiped and reinstalled my ROM since i had those stats on my phone. I THINK it was in the 5500 range....perhaps it was only 4500s...whatever about 200 points from the highest score reported is going to be it.

Yup, I've gotten 4819, 4820, and a whopping 4880. Am sure I can find this thread here somewhere with the pictures.

which kernel, governor, and I/O sched are you guys using to achieve those high scores?

Im using GSE on ZVB which has the plague kernel.

I set the CPU to the highest, 2.1 and on the performance setting. I also turn airplane mode on to turn off all data usage.

My SD card could read and write faster from which I THINK I could break 4800. 49?? I think is way out of my range unless I flashed a stock ROM and cut off EVERYTHING but it's not worth all that. :D

Who has reached 49xx!? I can't be second best when afaik I have the top 3 scores so far!

A buddy of mine got 4901 ONCE. Now this could have been a fluke because he never came close to that again. His next closest scores were 4805 and something like 4809. Now this was stock rom with plague kernel OC'd to max.

Like I said it was prolly a fluke I would think cause he never came close to that again and that phone is long gone on Ebay or I would damn sure be trying again. THis was all before I got deep into this shit so I really didn't care back then. lol

He tried saving it on the scores thing on Antutu but it didn't save. Mine NEVER save either cause it always says the same highest score on there which is 4739 I think. Not once has it posted one of my scores on the scoreboard. Not too worried about it but would be nice if they got posted on there like all the others.

If I could just break 4800 that would be cool. It's kinda dumb when you think about it hahaha, cause I NEVER EVER run my phone at 2.1 unless when I play angry birds or something. I keep it at 500 or 600 now just cause battery life is more important than those few milliseconds of speed. But it is nice to know that my phone has handled EVERYTHING I have thrown at it so far cause I see people having problems at 1.9 or even 1.8. Meh.

No Fuzzy... Going up to 49xx definitrly wouldnt be a fluke even if his scores are only in 48xx. That is close enough to be consistant and true. Tell your friend that i am coming for his score once you figure out exactly what it was.

You don't think it was a fluke? I'll have to hit him up and see what exactly he was running. I don't talk to him much but i know he dropped metro and got the galaxy note i think.

4340 @ 1.8ghz with performance setting, pg's plague kernel
any higher then 1.8 and i reboot :/
just a hair away from kindle fire, im going to piss the old woman off if i show her graffix wise and read speed comparison

still gonna try higher oc, with on demand and look into the kernel tweak settings on rtb

I'm running on mt kernel

Awesome, gives me a new reason to break the 5000 mark now. Database and Integer are the ones you beasted on. This is going to be internal SD Card as the tested SD card, correct?

Yes internal sd it was a couple of points higher. I actually hit 49xx a couple of times before I took a screenshot just to be fair lol.

WOW Johnny! Would you mind sharing the type and class of SD card you have as well as the specifics of your hardware setup and any information about your ROM and kernel please? are you using any memory managers, tweaks, etc? Or is that a clean install of ROM and such?
