DJ05 was a leaked mr ota from verizon that addresses some issues...mainly gps...changelog is here

it is available for download in irc only...and includes both an upgraded radio file to flash in odin and then you need a rom/kernel combo to to be fully upgraded.

most (if not all) development work is based upon it so almost all new kernels/roms/themes only work for it

we can also revert our radios as well in case verizon decides not to release it and patch the radio for froyo instead

We spoke about this in another thread, but I think it's worth posting here for anyone who is interested. I finally found a Unicorn DJ05 stock ROM/Kernel. I've seen debates over Voodoo/NonVoodoo, etc. The stock ROM is FAST. I can't say how fast, because there is NO lag to compare to DI01. Swiping the status bar, it moves as fast as your finger. You hit the app drawer and as soon as you swipe your apps fly by. Again, this is on a stock DJ05 ROM and the DJ05 modem. I honestly can't see how it could get any faster, except in long lists... Settings>Applications>Manage for example. I liked the phone out of the box... I LOVE IT now.

I installed it too. I've been using my phone for about 20-30 minutes on it now opening various apps and everything opens instantly (without that stock lag you'd normally get when opening multiple apps). Great find!
