Help Optimous Elite damaged charger slot?

It was trying to get it into the charger solt and wiggle it around so the phone started charging( Charger sucks) and the end you put in the phone broke because i was starting to get quite frustrated . Putting it in now makes the phone reboot for some reason Hopefully it didnt damage the phone......

As long as it chargers it should be okay right. I don't want the thing to spontaneously combust
Am i going to need to disassemble?

Every time you wiggle it to make contact you make a little spark. Eventually that whole part of the board will carbonize, and you'll have to replace the board. Get the port soldered down now, while it's still a cheap, simple repair.

I agree with the industry that all phones and tabs should use a single voltage and connector. I disagree with the industry that it should be a microUSB connector. (Of course the way some people treat their phones, the port should resemble an Abrams tank. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, forcing the connector in when you have it upside down does NOT make it work better.)

Yeah the ports been works fine. Just alitlle dirty so i will try the link above to clean it.
