Help Optimus M and Google Voice

Alright everyone, Google Voice is behaving horribly on my phone. I know there are a lot of issues with GV and Android, but with all of the brilliant minds here I'm hoping someone can get it fixed.

I am having two main problems

• Texting freeze the app sometimes (gets stuck on "sending" and will not actually send the text until I Force Stop)
• Recently, phone calls have not been working, forcing me to use my actual cell number to make the call

If anyone can help with either (preferably both) of these issues, I would really appreciate it.

Google Voice version: 0.4.2.24
Android OS version: 2.2 (rooted with z4root)

Google voice mainly uses data to fulfill its duties. Since Metro doesn't have its data up to par, you will experience problems.

I notice this when I have questionable wifi or cell data coverage. I think that the app should do a better job in this situation and not get stuck. Have you tried submitting this as a bug with the google voice team?
