Root Optimus M Help Thank you : )

I had my phone rooted at one time then I unrooted the phone & l started ( LG UPDATES ) now for some reason I cant root with any apps /Gingerbreak/Z4root/ this Is when I reset to ( Factory ) many times but I have a feeling the !! LG UPDATES Is keeping me from rooting anymore . . . .

I would truly appreciate any helpful Input from anyone because I have also spent weeks doing research on so many areas that now I have come to the conclusion that I just might be able to !!! FLASH !!! this !!! CM7mod Rom Update !!! that everyone has been saying good things & minor Isuues about .

I feel that maybe I can use a !! Rom Manager !! with my laptop to Flash my lg optimus & Flash Cm7Mod Updated Rom without being rooted Is this possibe ? how to flash cm7 to my optimus m unrooted.....

That's probably your best place to start, but there are plenty of other threads in the Optimus M Root section for you to take a look at and get info from.

I'll move your thread there where hopefully users of the device will be able to give you assistance.

when you did the lg update...it probably put you on firmware 2.2.2 which cant be rooted.you need to look in all things root section for a thread on how to downgrade to 2.2.1 then gingerbreak will work...goodluck...
