Root Optimus M locked on the LG screen TRIED EVERYTHING!

I know this has been covered but I am not finding the answers. My problem is that I tried to Root it and it is stuck on the LG screen. I cannot connect to the phone via USB because I cannot set the phone to USB debugging. I installed every driver out there for this device and tried the infamous Power+Vol Down+Home. NO LUCK... Is this phone a paper weight or is there a possible solution? I have since bought the Indulge, but wanna give this to my wife if I can restore it somehow. Any suggestions??

How did you root it and what else might you have done to cause the problem?
Be specific because the more details we have the better the help you'll get.
 
@thunderkiss. I tried the Lg drivers too with no luck.

Im running windows 7 ultimate.

@jabbawest. I used zroot. I set the phone to debug mode and ran the file. Once it was done, wahla LG logo only. I followed an older thread, but Its been too long now to remember which one.
