Optimus one and Speakout data browsing.

I just got my Optimus one unnlocked and stuck in my speakout sim. Calls work perfectly. I then activated the 10/month unlimited browsing. Shows activated in my online account.

Random google searches seemed to say to setup the APN on the phone to
APN :goam.com
proxy : 10.128.1.69
port : 80
username : wapuser1
password: wap

I did this but can't seem to get any sort of data connection. I know the speakout data plan is supposed to only be for browsing type data unless you use another proxy applicaion like ASproxy . i'll look into that later. for now i just want to see a browsing connection work.

am i doing something wrong?

Any thoughts appreciated.

So after more searching i did both a hard reset and added further options to the APN

MMSC http:/mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS proxy 10.128.1.69
MMS port 80
MCC 302
MNC 720
Authentication type None
APN type default

Now i have browsing working with the usual limitation that a lot of apps don't work since this is a browsing only service.
