Help Optimus One network problems

Hi there everyone,

So lets start off by explaining the problem.

My sister broke her Blackberry. So a few days ago she bought an LG Optimus One. My girlfriends cousin has the phone, and I mean except for a few small lags here and there, it seemed like a pretty solid phone.

So we pick it up, I try it out and it works fine and everything. I bring it home, let it charge to 100%, then put in her sim card...No connection.

Essentially thats the problem. The phone is a Koodo phone (boots up with the Koodo logo and all) but when I go into 'Mobile Networks' the phone will not let me choose 'Koodo' even though the sim is through them.

I took my Sim card (my phone is a Xperia Mini Pro) which is also from Koodo and it eventually did work, but I had to press the Koodo network about 20 times for it to work (same for my sisters...Took like 20 presses to work).

So, my question for anyone is..How can I fix that? And why would it not work? I have tried a hard reset, tried playing with different settings and nothing works. Below is the information on the phone.

I appreciate anyone who can help me out! My sister is desperate. Also just to note the sim cards both work fine in my Xperia.
