optimus one sensitivity compared to iphone/ipod touch

hey there, i'm just a bit curious here. i'm wondering if the p500's screen sensitivity is on par with the iphone/ipod touch sensitivity?

only, i've noticed that i can barely touch my ipod touch's screen before my touch is recognised by it... however, if i try the same thing with the p500, it doesn't work as well, and i need to put a bit more pressure on the screen.

my it is sensitive, i don't have iphone to compare but i think it's sensitive. i touch it with the tip of my finger and it recognized the touch

I have the optimus and it's as responsive as my bros g2. No lag at all on my home screens, but I'm using launcher pro.

yeah, i'm using launcher pro as well. am just wondering about it's sensitivity, because, as i said, i can hardlytouch the screen on my ipod... just like glaze over it with my finger, and it recognises my touch. this is the same with my brother's galaxy apollo. barely touch it and it recognises it. however, i need to put a bit more pressure down with my finger for the optimus one to recognise my touch. is this just the build of the phone? like, is this the same for everyone else?

I barely have to put pressure on mine to make it register, but I don't have a itouch or phone to compare it too. Compared to my bros G2 its the same.

i own an iPod touch and an optimus one, and i must say the the iPod really is more responsive and i do find myself pressing alot harder on the optimus....

I feel its more of getting used to the phone's touch senses :P :P

Its more easier to scroll/slide when you get used to its touch. anything more/less sensitivity can cause irritation.

Hi,

I think, to be honest, that the touchscreen sensitivity is way better on my iPod. I realize that with my Spica and my Galaxy.
Also, I had the chance to try out a friend's P500, and yup, iPod wins in that area.
Indeed, it is so soft you can barely touch the screen and it already responses to it. With the others, one have to sometimes "tap" it, reminds me of my old resistive 5800 XM.

I assume, you can only have that kind of accuracy with a high end smartphone like the Galaxy S, the Nexus One, the Desire, the Thunderbolt, and so on...
But I only had the chance to try the Nexus and the Galaxy S and don't recall what it felt like.

But anyways, these are just small (well not so small but you get the point) disadvantages for this amazing looking phone, for us cheapo android users :p

Nothing compares to the touch screen on the ipod or iphone that i have tried. My Optimus One without much running is pretty smooth but compared to my ipod touch screens it lags behind. maybe the higher end android units are comparable.
