Optimus one Vs. Ipod Touch 4: Need help choosing!

Hi everyone. I'm planning to upgrade my current smartphone and I have a very limited budget.

The reason why I want to upgrade because I need a faster, better phone to replace my Nokia E63.

I'll be working with mid-range doucment files (.Pdf, .txt), heavy browsing, average camera, excellent scheduler and calendar, and i really want a user friendly interface. I don't care about battery performance and I'm okay with daily charging.

As of now, I am choosing between Lg Optimus One (P500) and IpodTouch4(8GB).

They both have the same price in our country and I'm confused which is better.

I'll be dealing with Divx too.

Just to let you know iPod touch is not a phone, if you're thinking of iPhone then go with that. Honestly its a lot better than the optimus one.

I'm really referring to Ipod Touch 4. Is it worth sacrificing Sms and calls for better display and features than choosing Optimus one?

I use an Ipod touch. And i have a P500. Both has its own class and does its own purpose.
But if i were to choose, i would go with a P500, coz it has quite some good apps and easy to work with! i would suggest u go with a shuffle (if it serves the purpose) and buy a P500!
