As the phonje has not a issue, but at a period of X days the phone is Dead. meaning Powers off...........

as anyone expirence this where we all know a battery reomval is needed on DROID phones all te time.

wile Sprint is aware of .00001% telling htem Please Place a reset button sowe the people do not need battery removal

I had the same issue and it is related to the sd card problem. Since I replaced the sd card I have not had the issue.

Yeah we thought the battery was out, If it were ten a few things you notice which we did not. seeing all four buttons dimly light and flicker. and phone going on to charge, long press top On/Off lol

Sd card meaning you bought a new one, or pulled it ouit and back in. If a new one is needed a Sandisk etc I should do just that and get a 4gb one as we are not needing a ton of freespace.

thanks.

I got off the phone with Sprint answer is , go to store and let them diognose the problem.

to purchase a xd or have Sprint send a exchange, not worth the headache.

Same thing happened to me 3 times. The battery was charged, but the phone turned itself off. One time it was still plugged in. The 3rd time it happened, it required me to remove and reinstall the battery. Other than that, I love the phone. I'm thinking it is a firmware issue?

may sound like it is not even a issue at all, but something all droids do a one time. I am sure it can be this or that. till we know wat the problem actually is we'll guess tat issue

a sd micro card is on my wish list. otherwise pulling hte batt once a month or twice is fine.

Today, got a PNY 4 gb sd micro card with sd adaptor. loaded the Orginal files all back on to the card and we'll observe the phone, if we have a freeze, we'll live with it till newer fixs come about for the phone.
