Optimus S Bricked issues.

Hello everyone, I am just about fed up trying to unbrick this phone. Anyway here is what happened.

I did not read the warnings about rom manager prior to rooting. My mistake. In turn i tryed to install the free stuff that comes with rom manager. My phone asked to reboot so i allowed it. After rebooting i got to the LG screen then a black screen. The phone from there from my observisions was bricked.

The battery eventually died on me now when i plug it in, i get the flashing lg screen boot loop. I can enter emergency mode but i can not enter recovery. That being the case. KDZ unbricking meathod hasnt been working for me. i keep getting extraction error. Other one with the support tool, it gets to 99 and then says it lost connection with the phone and then my phone reboots back to the lg boot loop.

I have been doing research on this for days but it doesnt seem to be to any avail. if anyone has any helpfull pointers. PLEASE let me know. I need my phone back and i cant afford another right now.

Go post on forum.androidcentral.com. lot of experience there and a few devs too. Also a big thread on the fact that Rom Manager is not compatible with the optimus s. Its not a suppoorted device. But it seems like there's more support there

whaaaaaat? what are you talking about? theres an app that you can download and it does it with one press of a button...literally takes 2 minutes O_O

OP, have you tried using the KP500 tool? you might have to load all the stock VD cab's an all that stuff back on the phone so it acts like its brand new and then use the rooting app called Gingerbreak. lemme know if you have any questions or problems...
