Root Optimus took a dump. :(

So the other night when I got to work, I noticed my battery was down to 20%. I made a call home to let them know I made it to work okay, then shut the phone off. It's shown no signs of life since, not even a flash of the screen.

I've already replaced it with the LG Motion MS770, but it would make a great MP3 player, and its GPS was really good, which made it a great digital speedo when the cable goes out in my old bug. It would be awesome to get it working just to have it as a digital pocketknife, so to speak. So any ideas are greatly appreciated.
 
Sorry for the late update. I played with it a bit and got nowhere, so I was feeling a bit discouraged.

I digress; the last ROM I flashed on there was Backside 7.2. I'm not sure that the software has anything to do with it at this point.

Zero response when plugged in to power.

Zero response from host PC when connected to USB.

No signs of life from different key combos (although I'm not sure I remember the hard reset key combo).

Just nothing. I'm thinking it's just really dead.
